POTATO SLIM FRIES
Potato is an all time favorite for all. My dad and I are potato lovers. Every sunday we tell our mom to make spicy potato fry lunch. My mom used to make a different version of potato fry. This is my style of making spicy potato fry. Nothing can beat a south indian sambar with potato fry for lunch.
Ingredients
Potato- 2 medium size
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Salt- According to your taste.
Oil- 2 tblspoon
Red chilly powder- 1tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Mustard seeds- 1tsp
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Asafoetida- 1tsp
Method:
1. Wash and peel potatoes. Cut the potatoes lengthy wise. Heat a pan with oil, temper with mustard and cumin seeds. Then add the potatoes.
2. Add asafoetida, salt and turmeric powder. Fry until its half cooked.Then add chilly powder and coriander powder. Add oil if needed and fry until its nicely roasted.
Serve hot with rice and sambar.
