POTATO SLIM FRIES Potato is an all time favorite for all. My dad and I are potato lovers. Every sunday we tell our mom to make spicy potato fry lunch. My mom used to make a different version of potato fry. This is my style of making spicy potato fry. Nothing can beat a south indian sambar with potato fry for lunch. POTATO SLIM FRIES Ingredients Potato- 2 medium size Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp Salt- According to your taste. Oil- 2 tblspoon Red chilly powder- 1tsp Coriander powder- 1 tsp Mustard seeds- 1tsp Cumin seeds- 1 tsp Asafoetida- 1tsp Method: 1. Wash and peel potatoes. Cut the potatoes lengthy wise. Heat a pan with oil, temper with mustard and cumin seeds. Then add the potatoes. 2. Add asafoetida, salt and turmeric powder. Fry until its half cooked.Then add chilly powder and coriander powder. Add oil if needed and fry until its nicely roasted. Serve hot with rice and sambar.

CAULIFLOWER PEAS MASALA CAULIFLOWER PEAS MASALA This is my very first recipe in my food blog. In our house we usually make rotis for dinner. Since my husband hates eating dry sabji, I usually make dal or gravy sabji only. This is one of our favourite gravy sabji with gobi and green peas. Ingredients : Gobi(cauliflower)- 1 small Green peas- 1 cup (I used frozen peas). Oil-2 tblspoon Ghee-1 tblspoon Onion-1, chopped Tomato-1, chopped Green chilly-2 Ginger- 1 small piece Garlic-3 pods Cashews- 3 or 4. Cumin seeds- 1 spoon Kasoori methi- 2 spoons Everest kitchen king masala- 1 spoon Garam masala-1 spoon Coriander powder- 1 spoon Coriander leaves chopped to garnish. Method: 1. Cut cauliflower into pieces and put in warm water. 2. Heat a pan with oil and add cumin seeds. Add chopped onion and sauté until until it turns pink.
